'Papercute' letterpress woodtype typeface

Introducing 'Papercute' - designed by Fanny Coulez and Julien Saurin at S&C Type in Paris. Inspired by paper cutting, this typeface comes with alternative glyphs, ornaments and catchwords. Available as wood type for the first time. Manufactured under licence.

6 line (25.4mm) version cut from end grain English hardwood using a combination of modern CNC technology and traditional hand woodworking tools (including an original printers saw), made to English type-high (0.918in or 23.3mm) within plus or minus 0.1mm tolerance, sealed with shellac and hand finished with a traditional polished printing surface.

Available as a 3A scheme (63 blocks), Alternates (14 blocks), Figures (23 blocks) and Catchwords (3 blocks). Please see scheme details on the right. There are 2 variations of each letter in the 3A scheme.

Other sizes and schemes available on request. I can also cut individual letters or phrases if you have a particular project in mind - please email what letters you would like.

Each block varies in width however average size is 18mm x 23.3mm x 25.4mm.
