Out of sorts? Missing letters? I can help!
My most popular service is to make replacement/missing letters - from sizes 4 to 50 line. Simply place an order (minimum order of 3 letters) and then email your artwork - I can work with scans and vector artwork. If you'd like me to recreate the letters please get in touch and I'll get back to you with a price - I have over 30 years graphic design experience along over 50 wood typefaces and a large woodtype specimen book library.
Please note - price is for solid 'normal' letters - if you have outline, ornamented or super wide/expanded letters please choose the next size up to cover the additional machine time - thank you.
Cut from end grain hard wood using a combination of modern CNC technology and traditional hand woodworking tools (including an original printers saw), made to English type-high (0.918in or 23.3mm) within plus or minus 0.1mm tolerance, sealed with shellac and hand finished with a traditional polished printing surface.
Materials:
End grain English Hardwood (for sizes 4 to 16 line) and face grain Canadian Maple for sizes above 16 line.
